Located in one of BC’s most reliable snow belts, White Grizzly averages between 11–15 metres (that’s 36–50 feet!) of fresh snow every season. We’re known for the famous Kootenay Coldsmoke, a light, dry powder that makes every turn feel like a dream.

Unlike some larger operations, we keep it personal  small groups, expert guides, and terrain that keeps even seasoned skiers on their toes. Guests often tell us we have the most exciting and unique terrain of any cat skiing lodge they’ve visited  even compared to popular spots like cat skiing Mustang, K3 Cat Skiing, or cat skiing in Mustang.

Though we’re tucked away at the north end of Kootenay Lake, getting to White Grizzly is surprisingly simple. We’re just a 90-minute drive from Nelson, BC  a lively ski town that many of our guests explore before or after their trip.
